As summer brings the happy times
the autumn winds will whisper
a closer friend I’d never find
than the one I call my Sister.
Ummm Okay.. so we finally had Bashar Momin second episode last night and I was pretty sure it would maintain its charm like the previous one. This package continued character development via more little incidents of all the characters we have. I believe in the statement that family is everything; Adil’s love for his baby sister has somehow made Sahira uncomfortable. The best scene was when Adil was talking and convincing Rudaba to come and live them in their house else he will leave his house and come here to live with her (wow! Whatta brother), Sahira was unable to digest it so she called Adil and Adil with the gesture of his finger (bibi khamosh raho baat kar raha hoon apni behan say) was enough to make Sahira burn. Rudaba has broken as her father was the only support, Rudaba had no sense of herself as separate from her father, so when he was being murdered she didn’t know who she was. It was if he was a part of her – so when he died a part of her died too. Adil is surely a gentleman who knows how to talk, how to react on certain situations. He tried his level best to make her believe that she is not alone she has a brother who loves her like a father (Beta aap fikar na Karen) –Elder brothers are the blessing.
let me be honest in saying I just loved Sahira’s acting throughout, her personality is quite shady, she was sweet and bitter at the same time. In first episode she seemed to be a care free lady who doesn’t care for anything but herself. But in this episode she left me speechless, she showed that she is stressed because of Rudaba’s condition but on the other side she was jealous of Rudaba. Her expressions and eyes said it all.
Pareezay (Maryam our child star) has been finally introduced in second episode, her acting was flawless. For me this was high time when I started taking interest in Bashar as he was more than sweet with his niece that indicates he values relations. Tayyaba is in depression because of her engagement, she wants a normal life and a family, Sahira’s reaction was quite astonishing “shohar wo insaan hota hai jo sirf zamanay kay samnay apna hota hai, biwi sonay ki bhi kyun na ho kay aajaye, apnay shohar ko sonay main hi kyun na tool day, laikin apnay ghar waloon kay samnay apni bewi dikhai nahi daiti”. Tayyaba doesn’t want to understand because she knows it Bashar’s reputation that is not letting any guy marry her. Bashar may be a very bad person, mean, rude or obnoxious man but when it comes to his sisters he can’t see anything “ is duniya kay samndar say heera dhoondh kay laingay tumharay liye bika to khareed kay, na bika to loot kay” a very powerful dialogue.
Well I am in love with bashar’s house that made me believe as If I am watching a movie or may be dreaming. Dining table and the food on it was very tempting, and uper say Bashar ka khauf –perfect combination
Furthermore, another side of Bashar came upfront when he came to Salman’s house to threaten him. He was ready to ruin his life and make him suffer to death just to bring smile on his sister’s face. Salman’s father is an honest person he won’t let his son marry a sister of a GANGSTER –of course no one would Bashar tried everything to make Salman say yes but of no use, the scene was scary yet funny. Bashar’s dialogues and expressions were out of the world. “chotay chotay gharoon main rehnay waloon ki soch bhi isolate hojati hai”. Itna gharoor uffff!!! Still Salman’s answer was no, so Bashar was now all set to make him suffer “aisay nahi poori field laga kay maroonga”. Well my well wishes are with Salman and his family.
The most awaited scene finally came, Bashar and Rudaba met for the first time. This was for a short time but Rudaba somehow got what Bashar is :s. His not so pleasant nature made Rudaba quite uncomfortable. I think Rudaba would be praying that he won’t come in front of her ever again. Sahira told Rudaba that Bashar is like this; it’s his style and yes he gifted this house to Sahira and Adil.
Rudaba unintentionally asked Adil if Sahira has issues with her and she even told him that Sahira said this is Bashar’s house, so I think Sahira is in trouble now …
conclusively, it was a well directed and executed episode. Acting, dialogues, and costume everything was amazing and flawless. I just loved every bit of the episode. Bashar Momin is going to be one of the strongest fictional characters ever I have come across.. Wishes and lucks for the next episode
