Luck touches us all. “Why me?” we complain when things go wrong—though seldom when things go right. But although luck has a firm hold on all our lives, we seldom reflect on it in a cogent, concerted way. But the question arises what if luck matters more than effort? This is exactly what is happening to Rukhsar; despite of all her efforts it seems like she has to face what is written in her fate. There are times in your life when you get tired of explaining thing that matters to you and especially if it involves your parents, you surrender most of the times; at least I’ve seen it around me.
Episode fifth brought Sara and Faizi’s marriage along with Rukhsar’s disaster. Ammar, with his mother’s complete support, is playing dirty games with Rukhsar; tying her knot with Zaheer. I felt as if he just needs a baseless point so that he may charge Rukhsar and get freedom of this engagement. Zaheer on the other side is embarrassed on the situation and is totally unaware of what is Ammar up to this time.
For me the most annoying character was Rukhsar’s mother who has no idea what will be the consequences of her ignorance and wise is Jameela aunty who immediately smells something is wrong with Ammar and things are not going well for Rukhsar. It was also irksome seeing Mahrukh every other time with ammar.. Her presence at Sara’s marriage is acceptable somehow but what the hell was she doing with Ammar when he brought breakfast for dulhan and I was even more surprised to see dulhan’s mother was totally missing. Khandan k mard bhi pata nhe kahan so rhy hein.. sigh*
Faizi’s mother witnessed Sara’s irresponsible behavior soon after her marriage and didn’t like it at all. It was satisfying to see her husband had mutual feelings for Sara. Faizi is still in “love” with his wife and completely ignores her immature attitude and that would be dangerous for him later on. I can only hope yeh sahab hosh k nakhun lein!
